FRANCK X

THE ARTIST

Peter Franck is a German artist located in Stuttgart, where he has his own studio. The name of the studio is "Glücklich und Schön". It is located in an old butcher shop where he's creating all of his pieces sitting behind an old aquarium. The inspiration to become an artist has always been there. Thus he has almost over 30 years of experience in photography and arts by now. Peter also has already won many prices. As the latest example he won the Shortlist Sony World Photography Award 2021 with his piece "Endless Landscape". He studied art and graphics at academies in Nürnberg and Stuttgart and is specialized in capturing the imagery of photographs and digital art. His pieces are based of already existing works. The foundation is used to create something new and the aspect of change and time can be felt and sensed in his pieces.
THE WAR SERIES
This series launched in 2018 is stylistically similar to the seascapes series. The series handles the topic of war which is currently being discussed all over the world. The human being already disappeared in the steam of war.

What lasts are the moments before, during and after the last breath. Dying is not directly visible in all images/collages but you can feel the horror of it.

When you approach the images, you can find access through the artificially created aesthetics and startle back. The horrifying reality is noticeable in every pixel. One may suspect that today´s pictures will also be templates for future collages. Some things do not change …
Parts of the series won the Lensculture Art Photography Awards 2018. Exhibited in New York, Germany and France.

THE PROJECT
This series of NFTs was published in cooperation with a student project. The goal of the project is to research the effectiveness of various promotion methods in the NFT space and as a result help artists to join this market. In this case, the focus lies on the promotion of Fine-Art as a specific segment of the NFT market. Beyond the exceptional art created by Peter Franck, the NFTs in this series are committed to a greater cause in multiple ways.
THE GOOD CAUSE
The project name already indicates the greater meaning behind it: "Make Art Not War". We want to raise awareness of the things happening all around the world and show the true colors of those. Because of this we are also going to donate a part of the proceeds of the upcoming collection to one of Unicefs projects. We chose the „Emergency aid for children from Ukraine“ project because this is where help is needed today.

50 % of all the raised money will be donated!
As the highlight of our project we decided to create a digital event where we will showcase the whole collection. You as visitor will be able to walk through a digital gallery with your own character and enjoy the series in it's whole glory as if you were in there for real. The access to the 3D room is free und open for everyone. We caught your attention? - Then stay tuned and activate your notifications!

PART 1 - HOPE
To kick off our collection we chose the piece "Start", which is a video file in a black and white optic. It shows a military jet which is about to start from a bird's eye view. The infinity loop represents the never ending and returning circle of violence. Which perfectly depicts the message of the whole collection. This is the reason why we choose it as our centerpiece.

In addition to this NFT the buyer receives a real fine art print with 1 meter on the longest side.
